Well, it happened... I became one of the many that have gotten laid off thanks to the economy. People right now just aren't secure about publishing games. I loved my job very much, it still is one of the most painful things I have had to accept. I've decided I don't wish to leave florida for another year, so I will be looking into military simulation again, and possibly freelance. Freelancing is a scary world which I am unfamiliar with, but I might try it out. The battle plan is to put together what I can for a portfolio site (i'll be using [link] ) and to see how it goes from there. Luckily, I have a friend who works for a military sim place that's hiring right now, but we shall see.
